Refrigerated Display Surround
PROJECT
Everyday shop equipment, made part of the interior.
A factory-made refrigerated display serves a practical purpose. A custom surround connects it to the room. Here, the enclosure and decorative finish turn a separate piece of equipment into a distinct feature of the interior.
We made the surrounding structure and decorative finish. Pale tiles, red lines and an open upper frame give the display a clear visual identity. The refrigeration equipment itself is a factory-made unit.
The photographs follow the work from the workshop frame and cladding preparation to installation on site. It is an example of how the treatment of everyday equipment can change the feel of a display area.
