Ash Double Door
PROJECT
Expressive timber and a quiet rhythm of vertical lines.
This double door was made for a private client using solid ash and ash-veneered MDF. The pronounced grain and repeated vertical elements give it a clear character, while the glazing keeps the doorway feeling open.
The overall impression comes from smaller details: the shape of the surround, the joints, the fit of the hinges and the meeting of surfaces. Close views show how these individual parts come together as one piece.
Workshop photographs sit alongside the installed door, showing the door leaf and prepared frame components before final assembly on site.
