Bar Counters & Furniture
PROJECT
Every counter has its own character and place.
A bar counter often becomes a meeting point within a venue. It welcomes guests, divides the room and helps set the mood. This selection moves from dark, restrained fronts to bold colour and open shelving.
These counters and pieces of bar furniture were made for different commissions. Their construction varies too: some use metal frames, others plywood. Materials include MDF, wood veneer, painted plywood, profiled metal sheet and solid ash.
Different combinations lead to very different results. Wood brings warmth, metal defines the lines and colour gives a counter a stronger presence. Together, these pieces show the range of our workshop beyond any one style.
The gallery includes completed pieces and photographs taken during installation, when the furniture is becoming part of its setting.
