Ash & Metal Furniture
PROJECT
Rounded forms, warm ash and an open metal pattern.
Two pieces in this private commission share the same language of curved forms, ash and open metalwork: a drawer unit with shelving and a curved screen, and a compact counter.
We used metal, plywood, MDF, ash veneer and solid ash. Curves, repeated lines and visible wood grain connect the two pieces while keeping each one distinct.
The counter combines a decorative front with open storage behind it, while the larger unit balances closed cabinetry, shelving and the metal screen.
Workshop photographs show the cabinet structures, curved components and metalwork before finishing and final assembly.
